Support for autocratic governance among young adults by agreement with the statement “I have more friends online than I do in real life” and by gender (18-34-year-olds)
Those strongly agreeing that “I have more friends online than I do in real life” are twice as likely to back army rule as those strongly disagreeing (65% to 27%) and much more likely to back a strong leader (76% to 42%).
