Fit for Purpose?

Britain’s outdated competition regime

When Rishi Sunak MP was the Chancellor of the Exchequer he commissioned John Penrose MP to write a report on how to update the Government’s competition policy. 18 months on and there has been limited progress on the recommendations put forward. In a new report, The Unfinished Revolution, Penrose argues the new Government needs to move much faster to make British businesses more internationally-competitive.

This panel event will discuss the findings of the report, and will hear from John Penrose MP, Flint’s Meera Vadher and Onward’s Ed Birkett and Adam Hawksbee to discuss how to fix Britain’s competition regime, focusing on energy, business and transport.

This event is almost at capacity. If you would be interested in attending, please sign up below.
