Skill Britannia: Developing workforce capabilities to drive social mobility

Britain has a skills problem – and it’s holding back our levelling up ambitions. Schools, colleges and universities are key to addressing qualification gaps, but governments too often overlook those already in the workforce. This panel will consider how apprenticeships and vocational training can shore-up the UK’s skills pipeline and improve social mobility.
