Tourism recovery and the fabric of communities

The UK economy is starting to recover strongly from the devastating effects of the pandemic but several sectors, including tourism, remain some way off their pre-crisis peak and many communities continue to suffer. The challenge for both industry and policymakers is how to ensure a strong economic recovery that not only brings back jobs and growth, but also builds back in a way that replenishes reserves of social and economic capital lost during the last 18 months.

This private roundtable will bring together senior policymakers, industry professionals and members of parliament to discuss tourism recovery and how to strengthen the fabric of communities.
