Bounce Back Bigger is a major series of events which aims to inform the policy debate on the economic recovery and present radical ideas to get jobs, investment and wages growing as strongly as possible.

On Monday 13th July we will be hosting the second event in this series which will consider Generation C-19:How can we avoid a crisis for young people during the pandemic? History suggests that young people fare worst in recessions and coronavirus is no different. Young people are likely to be the first to be fired, last to be hired, and suffer some of the most damaging scarring from unemployment. The C-19 generation went into the crisis with some of the lowest homeownership and job security rates in recent history. How can we ensure that this crisis does not curse a generation?

We are very pleased to announce there will be contributions from James Kanagasooriam, Partner at Hanbury Strategy, Laura Trott MP, Member of Parliament for Sevenoaks and Lord Willetts, President of the Resolution Foundation’s Advisory Council and Former Minister for Universities and Science.

When: Monday 13th July (nb. This event was previously scheduled for Wednesday 8th July)

Time: 1315-1430

Where: This event will take place via Zoom webinar. Please be aware that places are limited. We will also be streaming the event on Onward social media channels
