Please join us at an upcoming panel event, When Innovation systems work: what can the UK’s response to the pandemic teach us about wider science and technology policy?
This session will consider what lessons we can draw from the institutions and networks that successfully mobilised to fight the pandemic, and how we can learn from them in other sectors of the economy. It will include a discussion on the role of the Advanced Research and Innovation Agency (ARIA), to ensure it fulfils its potential as the engine of innovative, high risk research, and consider the wider questions posed by the Nurse Review.
