Project Director

Gavin Rice is the Project Director for Onward’s Future of Conservatism project.
Gavin is an experienced public policy professional and former Government adviser. He was policy director of the Centre for Social Justice and has written and edited numerous published reports covering education, employment, welfare, family, economic policy and public administration. He was a Special Adviser to the Brexit Secretary and is a veteran of the successful 2019 Conservative general election campaign. He has been published widely in The Telegraph, ConservativeHome, CapX, Reaction and The Critic, as well as appearing on various broadcast platforms. He has worked in journalism, consulting and education.
