Seema Kennedy was Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for the Home Office in 2019 and before this was Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Public Health and Primary Care. She was elected MP for South Ribble in 2015. In 2016 she formed the Jo Cox Commission on Loneliness and was also PPS to the Prime Minister. She is a member of Onward’s Advisory Board.
