Scrapping net zero could cost the Conservatives 1.3 million votes

On April 25th, 2022, we published our report ‘Taking the Temperature,’ that found that the Conservatives could lose up to 1.3 million votes if they ditched net zero policy.

Chair of the Net Zero Support Group Chris Skidmore MP wrote for The Times Red Box on how abandoning net zero would cost the Conservatives.

Co-author of the report James Blagden wrote for City AM on Red Wall Conservative voters’ support for net zero.

Findings from the report were also presented on  Peston by ITV’s Political Editor Anushka Asthana, and Head of Energy and Climate Ed Birkett appeared on  GB News with Nigel Farage debunking claims about net zero and voter preferences.
