Conservative Party Conference is the biggest annual political event in Europe, bringing together decision-makers, ministers, elected officials, members and businesses, and helping to shape the country’s political conversation. This year, it will be held from 2nd-5th October 2022 at The ICC Birmingham.
Our party conference programme is consistently rated the pick of the fringe, securing high level speakers, probing deep into policy issues and attracting large audiences. Past speakers include Rt Hon Sajid Javid MP, Lord James O’Shaughnessy, Ben Houchen, Neil O’Brien MP, Rt Hon George Eustice MP and Rachel Wolf. Last year, we held an impressive 16 events over 3 days, each tackling the enormous political, social and economic consequences of the pandemic.
Our 2022 Programme
This year, we will gather in Birmingham from Sunday 2nd October to Tuesday 4th. We are delivering our best programme yet, with stand-out speakers and topics that will expand on Onward’s current research and support the UK’s path to long-term prosperity. As you explore our events, you will see that they mostly centre around the following topics: Levelling Up, Getting to Zero, Repairing our Social Fabric, and Science and Technology.
In addition to our regular fringe programme, which will be held in the Birmingham Library, we are hosting the “Onward Stage” – a dedicated room in the secure zone in the ICC Birmingham that will host curated series of speeches and “in conversation with” events with senior ministers and journalists.
This year’s full Conservative Party Agenda has been released – you can find it here, along with information on how to purchase tickets, how to get there, hotels and FAQs.
