UK Social Fabric Index – Relationships

This measures the associational life of a place – the strength of social relationships between neighbours, local groups and organisations and the wider community.

The thread brings together a wide range of data, including on the level of support for charities, through both philanthropy and volunteering, the number of shops, pubs and other assets owned by the community, levels of religiosity and whether people spend their leisure time together or apart.
